Today, we would like to share with
\nyou the story of one of the most iconic products and one that holds a very
\nspecial place at LCN: WEBER carburetors<\/b>, which we manufacture
\nexclusively at our facilities.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

A product with more than a century of
\nhistory that continues to be part of our present and our passion for the
\nautomotive world. From Edoardo Weber<\/b> to Lorenzo
\nCaballero<\/b>: a century of excellence, a story of passion for the
\nautomotive world, and a legacy ? that of Weber carburetors ? that is more alive
\nthan ever.<\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Edoardo Weber (1889?1945)<\/span><\/b> was an Italian engineer whose work revolutionized
\ncarburetor engineering during the first half of the 20th century. After gaining
\nvaluable experience in the automotive industry, particularly at FIAT, Weber
\nbecame convinced that the performance, efficiency, and reliability of internal
\ncombustion engines could be significantly improved through much more precise
\nfuel metering.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Driven by this vision, in 1923 he
\nfounded the Fabbrica Italiana Carburatori Weber<\/i> in Bologna.
\nInitially focused on supplying carburetors for Fiat vehicles, the company
\nquickly earned a reputation for technical excellence. Weber products soon
\nbecame renowned for their precision, reliability, and ability to deliver
\nsuperior performance as automotive technology evolved.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In 2005<\/b>, Lorenzo
\nCaballero made the decision to continue this story by restarting the production
\nof original Weber carburetors<\/b> in Guadalajara<\/b>,
\nfollowing the acquisition of the original manufacturing plant. A firm
\ncommitment to local industry, tradition, and manufacturing know-how<\/b>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Unlike many manufacturers of the
\ntime, Weber did not simply refine existing designs. He approached fuel delivery
\nas a true engineering discipline, continuously developing venturi geometries,
\nthrottle configurations, and fuel circuits with the aim of achieving smoother
\noperation, greater efficiency, and consistent performance throughout the
\nengine’s entire rev range.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Today, LCN’s<\/b> objective
\nremains unchanged: to maintain originality in order to preserve the
\nvalue of classic vehicles<\/b>, while safeguarding the quality,
\nprecision, and reliability<\/b> of a product that is as complex as it is
\niconic.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

During the 1930s, Weber became
\nclosely associated with the rapid growth of Italian motorsport. Racing teams
\ndemanded carburetors capable of delivering high airflow and extremely precise
\nmixture control under the most demanding operating conditions. Weber responded
\nto this challenge by developing innovative twin-barrel carburetors that
\nsignificantly improved cylinder filling, throttle response, and engine
\nperformance. These technological advances quickly found their way into
\nproduction sports cars, where the same qualities valued on the racetrack ?
\npower, flexibility, responsiveness, and reliability ? proved equally attractive
\nto enthusiastic drivers.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In 2016<\/b>, LCN took another
\nstep forward by bringing back carburetor families that had disappeared from the
\nmarket and whose absence threatened the preservation of certain classic
\nvehicles. Among them was the iconic three-barrel IDA 3C for Porsche<\/b>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

These technological advances quickly
\nfound their way into production sports cars, where the same qualities valued on
\nthe racetrack ? power, flexibility, responsiveness, and reliability ? proved
\nequally attractive to enthusiastic drivers.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Following Edoardo Weber’s death in
\n1945, the company continued to grow without abandoning the engineering
\nprinciples established by its founder. His philosophy of continuous technical
\nimprovement became a cornerstone of the company, enabling Weber to establish
\nitself as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-performance
\ncarburetors.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In 1952<\/b>, Weber became
\npart of the FIAT Group and was subsequently integrated into Magneti Marelli,
\nensuring that Weber carburetors continued to be developed and manufactured for
\nboth original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and the international aftermarket.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This industrial integration combined
\nWeber’s technical specialization with the manufacturing capabilities of one of
\nEurope’s largest automotive groups, further strengthening the brand’s
\ninternational reputation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Today, LCN is the only
\nfacility worldwide authorized and equipped to manufacture genuine WEBER
\ncarburetors.<\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This commitment to classic motoring
\nis reflected in the production and supply of 50,000 genuine carburetors
\nevery year<\/b>, preserving the authenticity, quality, and legacy of one of the
\nautomotive world’s most historic brands.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Through this initiative, LCN
\ncontinues to contribute to the preservation and appreciation of classic
\nvehicles<\/b>, while keeping alive the passion and enthusiasm of those who make
\nit possible for these automotive treasures to remain on the road, generation
